Asia-Europe airfreight rates firm up

According to the latest data from TAC Index over seven days to 24 August , rates on the busiest lanes out of China were down week on week to the US, but firmer to Europe.
This backs up “reports that the market is now adjusting to a new flat-rate customs duty into the EU following the end of the previous de minimis regime in July”, said TAC.
